  5. Me too. I have a favourite black top that has black silky elbow patches. They are starting to wear thin, so this is great for me as I need to replace them.

  50. I've got a Fair Isle cardigan that I've loved and worn so much that the elbows are thinning, so this would be a great way to save it! But I'm also considering just felting some wool elbow patches onto it. Decisions, decisions...

  54. Just the thought of elbow patches bring back the somewhat musty, mothbally scent of my grandfather. I love elbow patches as much as I love grandpa glasses, plaids, Filson anything and fedoras, so glad they have all come around again.
